“When I am called to see a horse, I tune in to the horse and have a little conversation, with my hands, my heart and my spirit.”

Greetings, I am France.

My journey commenced two decades ago when I embarked on a Bachelor of Science in Osteopathy at the esteemed European School of Osteopathy (ESO) in Maidstone, Kent.

In 2005, I proudly graduated and embarked on my career as a fully qualified osteopath, initially focusing on human patients within various clinics. Five years down the road, I delved into the realm of Equine Osteopathy, honing my skills under the tutelage of Chiropractor Andrew Glaister. Acquiring certification in Applied Equine Biomechanics, I amalgamated Osteopathic and Chiropractic techniques, employing mobilization, adjustments, positional releases, and craniosacral methods, among others.

I firmly believe in the importance of a diverse toolkit, enabling me to tailor my approach to the unique needs of each horse, rather than expecting them to conform to a singular technique. Thus, my journey has been one of continuous exploration and enhancement, embracing a plethora of methodologies to complement my foundational training.

My quest for knowledge led me to study myofascial release with Caroline Lindsay, Reiki with Melissa Crowhurst, and Animal Communication with esteemed mentors such as Laila Del Monte, Lynn McKenzie, and Pea Horsley. Additionally, I obtained a diploma in Equine Psychology and delved into Celeste Lazaris’ Balance Through Movement Method and Nerve Release through self-study. Presently, I am engrossed in mastering the theory and practice of the School of Légèreté with Kat Layfield.

In January 2024, I embarked on a new chapter of learning at the prestigious Vluggen Institute of Equine Osteopathy in Waldfeucht, Germany. Over the ensuing three years, I aim to deepen my understanding of Equine biomechanics, exploring aspects of visceral, fascial, and craniosacral dynamics.

Beyond my professional endeavors, I harbor a profound interest in holistic modalities such as essential oils, the Masterson Method, homeopathy, Bach flower remedies, crystal healing, and acupressure. Moreover, I find inspiration in podcasts such as those hosted by Warwick Schiller and Tracy Duncan.

Through my diverse expertise, I endeavor to attune myself to the needs of each horse, delivering treatments that nurture their body and soul.

Driven by a passion for fostering understanding and connection between humans and horses, I founded the Wild Voice community. This sanctuary welcomes those who seek to embark on a journey of awakening and transformation in their relationship with their equine companions. Whether you are just beginning to question conventional practices or have embraced a new paradigm, you will find solace among like-minded individuals dedicated to honoring the sacred spirit of the horse.

My mission is to lead you toward a holistic perspective as a bodyworker, nurturing harmony and reverence within your partnership with your equine companion. Together, let us honor the profound spirit and wisdom of these majestic beings.

I’ve had the pleasure of sharing my journey and insights as a guest on two wonderful podcasts: Wealth Unchained with Emma Wright, where we explored childhood with horses and dreams of community, and No Ordinary Horse with Clare Morris, where we delved into compassion, horses as teachers, and understanding one another. Here are the two episodes for you to listen to and enjoy!

For the curious:

  • My official name IS France (it’s not a nickname or shortened name) and I am from France, a town called Haguenau near Strasbourg to be more precise. It’s pretty much sitting on the border with Germany. I moved to England in 2003 to study in Maidstone and never left the UK since.

  • I started riding at 4 years old and me and my brother shared our first pony when I was 5. He was called Ulysse and was only 3. I was way too small for him, but nevertheless… He quickly became my best friend.

  • I first met my husband at the Royal Victoria Hall, when we were both singers and had our own bands (progressive rock for me and metal for him!). We have a dog called Luna (born in 2015) and a son called Ciel (born in 2016). Which means Moon and Sky (it wasn’t premeditated!). We are a home educating family.

  • I have been vegetarian and Vegan but I would now classify myself as “flexitarian”!

  • I used to be a fusion belly dancer…I even won an award!

  • I also have a Bachelor of Art in music performance, I sing and play guitar. My son is teaching me drums and I am learning violin (it’s never too late!)

We would be a good match if:

You are looking for grounded support, evidence-based information, someone who can talk to your vet but also have a love for the mystical, spiritual and unknown realms of animal spirits & interspecies communication.

You want to integrate your horse’s wellbeing physically, mentally and energetically.

You see your relationship with your horse as a partnership, not just owner/owned.
