“During a session I assess your horse physically, emotionally and energetically and report back to you my findings.”
Equine Osteopathy
I believe animals come into our lives for a reason, they are truly transformational being if we are still enough to follow their lead.
I believe we are blessed to be their guardians during their lives with us. We are not owners as we don’t own them at all, yet we are responsible for their wellbeing.
It’s hard to always know what is the right thing to do for them, what do they need, we want to know if they are happy, if they like us, if they like the work, the competitions, their stable mates, and so on… it can get relentless and isolating.
If you just feel your horse “isn’t right” and you would like me to have a look or if the vet has recommended physical therapy/osteopathy/chiropractor after his visit and diagnosis then this option is a good place to start.
When I am called to see a horse, my intention is to see things from the point of view of the horse whenever possible. I tune in to the horse and have a little conversation, with my hands, my heart and my spirit. I see every horse as a deep spiritual sentient being. They all have great lessons to teach us.
During a session I assess your horse physically, emotionally and energetically and report back to you my findings. I then apply various techniques to improve mobility, relieve physical tension or emotional tension, reduce imbalances and improve overall mechanics and wellbeing. I work in partnership with you for the wellbeing of your horse, and we then discuss the prognosis and exercise regime if needed.
